Description

Originally composed in 1984 as a jazz-world music fusion piece, the new version of the Winter Tale reimagined for guitar ensemble, features written-out improvisations and an overall recomposed structure. The piece is based on Balkan modal language, and the guitar parts are arranged to create a balanced exchange of solos. "Winter Tale" is dedicated to the Kupinski Guitar Duo.
