Description

These four pieces, Carolan's farewell to music, Loftus Jones, Dr John Stafford and Mary O'Neil have been harmonised and arranged by Luc Lévesque in a very playable manner. As usual with this publisher all parts are beautifully printed with an excellent layout for the players. If you like O'Carolan's music then this is worth investigating, the pieces here have variety and a nice sense of their style comes through the arrangement. Its difficult to do very much in the way of orchestrating these pieces if you want to remain faithful to the essence of the original and the arranger has done weIl to keep the essential style.
