For a quarter of a century, I have composed nearly 600 studies for solo guitar, each time seeking to open new paths for young musicians. My modal language, nourished by the folk music of my country, has over the years proved to be a particularly fruitful tool in my educational projects.
This collection, the largest body of studies I have written to date, offers a new learning journey, from the earliest stages through the intermediate level, exploring several essential aspects of guitar technique. Its harmonic world, at once rich, modern, and accessible, is accompanied by stimulating technical challenges, particularly in the study of fingering.
I hope that this series will soon be accessible to young guitarists around the world and that it will accompany them with pleasure and curiosity on their musical journey.
