This composition in two distinct parts, of classical and baroque inspiration,
evokes a stay in the beautiful Quercy region, in particular in Rocamadour.
In the first movement, "Confidence", it evokes stories, stories
the tales of yesteryear shared in a peaceful and serene setting, like that of the landscapes
calm and picturesque views around Rocamadour. The melody seems to whisper secrets
offering an atmosphere that is both nostalgic and contemplative.
Then, in the more rhythmic part, the “Dance” comes alive with energy.
Its rhythm reflects the joyful and festive spirit of local traditions.
We can imagine a lively dance, perhaps inspired by festivals and
celebrations which take place in Rocamadour, where the music resonates
through the cobbled streets and old city walls.
