Description

I wrote Sonatina No. 2 in 2025 as a three movement work, exploring various characters such as lyricism, tonal contrast, and textures idiomatic to the guitar. It furthers my interest in writing music that connects traditional forms with my personal harmonic language. The piece was commissioned by and is dedicated to my friend and colleague, guitarist Nick Hurt.
