Description

The god of sleep, “Hypnos,” and the goddess of night, “Nyx,” had a son, “Morpheus,” the god of dreams. The barcarolle originates from the rhythm of the gondoliers in Venice. I dedicate this piece to the mothers Florence and Marlène, to cradle their children’s sleep.
