Capriccio is a work that pays homage to guitar composers who have influenced me, such as Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco and Manuel Ponce. Not by using their themes, but rather through the harmonic language and musical character that can be found in their works.
It is a piece full of energy, but with contrasting sections of great lyricism and expressiveness.
