Inspired by my contrapuntal guitar method, published in 2022 by Productions d’Oz, the composers first thoroughly explored the principles it sets out, and then creatively brought this material to life. The result: unique, expressive, and deeply personal works that attest to the diversity of approaches and the freedom offered by counterpoint when it is reinvented by inspired artists.
This collection is aimed at all musicians curious to discover how contrapuntal techniques can concretely fuel both performance and composition through a variety of contrasting styles.
