This publication presents four refined classical guitar transcriptions from Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite: Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Arabian Dance, Chinese Dance, and Dance of the Reed Pipes. Carefully arranged by guitarist and composer Roberto Zadra, these transcriptions preserve the orchestral character, color, and rhythmic vitality of the original works while exploiting the expressive and idiomatic possibilities of the classical guitar.
