Memories of Ellis Island was written in 2017 and revised in 2023. It is dedicated to my dear friend, the legendary guitarist Scott Tennant. The majority of the musical material is derived from the guitar ensemble work Scenes From Ellis Island. In addition, I use material from the ensemble version I made of that piece entitled Ellis Island for my ensemble, Ufonia. Both of these recordings can be found on YouTube and Spotify. I have recorded this work on my CD Some Towns and Cities 2 recording.
