This is a homage to the great Colombian harpsichordist Rafael Puyana – and it has in it some passages recalling his declamatory style of playing. The piece is based on the song “Toda mi Vida” by the 16th c. Spanish “vihuelista” and composer Luis Milan.
At the begining I have set the melody in the minor key and in the last section I have harmonised it in the original major key.
As usual with my fingerings all notes should be left tringing for as long as naturally possible.
