Three years later he was selected as a performer on the NPR radio show From The Top - “the preeminent showcase for America’s best young musicians”. He continued his studies with Mario Abril at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he was a winner of the Authors and Artists Club scholarship as well as the school’s concerto competition.
