Cancion

This is a miniature piece lasting 66 bars of alla breve time. The guitar part is not very difficult and is in single notes throughout, and if there is any difficulty here it would be in balancing the separate parts in performance, as the actual notes are playable by a relatively modest group of players. All five players are constantly in attendance and there are no solos for any of the performers. It is modern in places but always harmonious and is an idea for an amateur group of players to get their hands on and would be ideal for an end of term concert.
