Description

Swiss-born Kindle's music is an old friend of CG and many of his works have frequently received complimentary reviews. This latest little trio is not too difficult at all and any three players of modest to intermediate will be able to have a lot of fun with it.
All three guitars have solo lines for much of the time, as there are no chords used at all, anywhere in the piece. The odd pair of notes is about as complex as it gets. What is, of course, a little more sophisticated is the use of rhythm; gentle syncopation being the order of the day for much of the time. Moreover the three are equal partners throughout with no one part taking the musical lead and the entire contents of the piece happen in the first five frets and so reading the piece should not be a serious problem. It is a lively work with bouncy melodies and interesting part writing that make for an exceedingly enjoyable few minutes.
Lots of fun, not too hard and written by one the most consistently good writers I have come across in the last few years. What more is there to say?
Chris Dumigan (Classical Guitar Magazine)
