This latest little Venezuelan waltz pastiche is every bit as obvious as some of his other pieces and yet on a different level altogether it works wonderfully. It is written to be played without using the right-hand third finger and rattles along at a frenetic pace in E minor but manages to be charming and yet obvious at the same time, but still works. It is all over and done within two-and-a-half minutes but would be a fabulous encore piece for anyone's recital and can be heartily recommended as a delightfully tuneful trifle.
