For this composition, Kleynjans' opus 262, he reverts back once again to his customary tried and trusted format of a simplistic, predictable melody sounding over an uncomplicated harmonic progression. All pleasant stuff indeed and probably will be quite appealing to the grade 4 student who wishes to play a bit of a sentimental tune which all falls nicely under the fingers. The style is unquestionably Klenyjans and anyone who has gone through more than half a dozen of his 'easier' works will begin to recognise this style.
