BARTOLI René

It is at the age of 21 that René Bartoli won the Concours International de Guitare de l'O.R.T.F, at the Gaveau hall in Paris. From there he began his concert tours in France, Belgium, England... Senior Professor at the Conservatoire National de Région de Marseille. he has recorded many 33cms discs, including one with the famous flutist Jean-Pierre Rampal, as well as two pedagogical repertoires with scores, that have been a guide for many guitarists. In 1978, he created the international guitar competition which bears his name, as well as the national competition over which he presides and directs every year.
