Description

Diego Corraliza was born in Elche, Spain. A few years later he moved to Yecla and that’s where he began his guitar studies with Professor Francisco Albert Ricote and flute with Eva Belda. He enters the conservatory of Villena and subsequently moves to Elche where he finishes his professional degree after an examination to obtain the degree directly, as a student of Ana Fenoll first, and Miguel García Ferrer later. In parallel, he perfected his studies of harmony at the IMT in Madrid.
He has completed the upper degree of guitar with honors with Professor Pablo Barón at the CSM in Murcia. He continues his training doing a postgraduate degree with the renowned guitarist Ricardo Gallén at the CSM in Zaragoza, as well as numerous guitar training courses where he receives classes from great masters such as Leo Brouwer, David Russell or Carles Trepat, among others.
In the field of composition and orchestration, he holds a master’s degree at the CSM in Zaragoza, receiving classes of renowned composers as Tristan Murail or Hector Parra, and continues to refine his craft together with composers Salvador Brotons and David Mora Manresa.

Winner of the IV International Composition Competition for Guitar "Manuel de Falla" in Sevilla with the work Dos Preludios.
