WILKE Christopher

Composer and guitarist Christopher Wilke is on the faculty at Northern Kentucky University and Xavier University. Christopher Wilke received his Master's degree from the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music where he received the Oscar Ghiglia Award and worked as graduate assistant to Clare Callahan. He studied composition with Angelo della Picca. In addition to his activities in contemporary music, Mr. Wilke is also a devotee of early music and often performs on lute and theorbo. He's performed in masterclasses for Oscar Ghiglia, the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, Antigoni Goni, and Martha Masters. He has also received instruction on lute from Nigel North, Paul Beier, and Ronn McFarlane. He currently lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife, cat, and Doberman Pinscher.http://www.chriswilke.bravehost.com/
