Description

"This little piece is at 30-bars long, definitely a sketch but as the cover states is one of 25 that are being issued monthly by d'OZ, and I have personally seen two of them now. This latest one is in C major and is arpeggio driven. It is quiet and restful in style, (so it is not that Sleepy Hollow - no headless horsemen here!) What is interesting about the piece is the way he varies the opening idea; so that every time one hears the C major beginning the next bar is always different, akin to looking at a sculpture from different sides; it's the same sculpture each time but now it looks slightly different from another angle. It is quite easy to play; nothing challenging and all over in less than two minutes but if the price is right, this is a nice interlude and most tuneful and melodically interesting.
