Description

Never raising its technical standards above grade 5, this is an intelligently written book aimed at students who wish to diversify into the music of the blues. There are eight pieces all written in a 'swing' style and featuring glissandos and bends. Due to several of the pieces having different speeds and moods, a nice set could be built from this list. Excellent teaching and student concert material of this form. Presentation, as usual with these publishers, is top class.
