This suite is in three movements, very clearly presented with appropriate fingerings and no page turns. This is attractive material within the grade three mark suiting players of matched ability, with equal interest in each part. Invention relies on clichéd sequences for its middle section but I liked the dialogue between parts. Prière has a lyrical melody with some effective harmony, and, played with sensitivity, could produce a very satisfying result. Final completes this suite in 6/8 with the melody passed between players. A useful duo which could help to develop an interest in this genre.
