Clearly inspired by the music of the king of the modern tango, Astor Piazzolla, here are three titled pieces in the form of the ever-popular tango. The three works - Passion Tango; La Meprise; Tinto Tango - are all, without exception, very melodic and follow some very pleasant and at times, subtle harmonic progressions. This edition would possibly suit the duo of Intermediate standard and it could be quite a nice programme on the concert platform.
