Description

There are two duets here. The first Berge en Fleurs is a pleasing melody in B minor 2/4 andantino, accompanied by warm harmonies and an uncomplicated style that is not very difficult to play (one or two chord clusters might need careful reading to the less advanced), and would sound fine in a little recital. The second piece Marée montante is a Vivo 6/8 in tarantella rhythm, and a fair bit harder to play, but still managable by players not too advanced, just requiring a certain amount of speed and dexterity in both left and right hands.
This is a nicely contrasting little pair and both are melodic and fun to play.
