The Sonata in Re is the result of a commission made by guitarist Fix Nicolet, who already counts in his repertoire with many of my works for guitar.

It is a sonata that follows quite faithfully the structure of this musical form, with an introduction and four movements: Allegro Moderato, Largo, Tempo di Minuetto and Rondó. - The latter with a somewhat extemporaneous license as to include in it a swing-rhythm.

Moreover, it is a work of “retro” air and neo-Romantic character, with soft harmonies and pleasant and relaxed hearing.
