Since 1999, among the guitar works, I also have written songs for voice and piano, or guitar, on the poems of the Romanian authors (such as Eminescu, Voiculescu or Stanescu). Inspired by the cycle which I wrote last year on the poems of Mihai Eminescu I created another one on the poems of Edgar Allan Poe. The music, flowing from the resonance of words, goes deep into the english universe, which is carefully guided by the modal language I usually use. The eight songs are the field on which the english and romanian cultures share a common spirit.
