Nina by the French composer Yvon Demillac is one of those rare pieces where having played through it once, it tempts one back to play it again ... and then again and so on. Well, that's what happened to me when I read through it for review. This is such a lovely piece of writing, one which holds the attention from the very start and never drops in standard. Its romantic nature, lovely harmonisations and memorable melody lines make this a very strong contender for the amateur concert, restaurant/hotel work, etc. The really good news is that this very attractive work is not too difficult and should be in the capabilities of any Grade 4 player.
