Written for the Trio de Guitares de Montreal this piece is structured from 15 short sections. The music is strident and bold with an attractive sonority. The short sections do hold together and the piece can form a satisfying whole. It isn't easy to play with fragmented rhythms and many percussive effects needing to be handled with skill of the texture is to be kept within the limits of the music.
