Description

Suite Argentina is an engaging composition written in a contemporary style over traditional rhythms. It comprises La Pirisiana - an attractive, mysterious work in the style of a Milonga: El Gatito de Noe - an exciting and energetic piece: Zamba de la Brigitte - a composition wilh nice harmonies and melodies woven together inside an intricate rhythm: and finally Chacarera Pa'l Bernard - another lively piece which this reviewer found less attractive then the previous three. This work could make an interesting choice of new repertoire for the grade 7+ player.
