SHIELS Andrew

Andrew Shiels is an award winning Irish composer whose works for guitar are widely performed and recorded. Perhaps his most significant guitar work to date is the concert work The Voyage of Maeldún which was featured at the Stroud International Festival. 

Having withdrawn from public life at the turn of the century, Andrew now lives and works as a recluse on a large farm overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
In addition to his work as a composer, he is a published author and poet and holds a degrees in psychology.
