«William Beauvais is based in Canada and already has in print, similar arrangements and original composition that have been well-received. One of his favourite ideas for song accompaniments is to weave a counter melody around a strong tune, composed in such a way that the accompaniment could stand alone and possibly become a solo guitar piece.
The standard is grade 5 and above for the guitarist, but much less demanding for the singer. The guitarist needs to be able to keep the pulse going to make the flowing quavers fit against the melody. The vocal range is for medium voice, and the second verse is included in both songs.
However many good arrangements there are already for these weIl known folk songs there is always room for one more.√
